In fear that she would be caught by her sister-in-law, Ning Qing hunched low like a thief and kept looking left and right around the parking lot, “Shouldn’t you be in school at this time?”
Qin Ran was scrolling down her phone, and when she heard the voice, she raised her eyes a bit. The expression on her face remained stoic.
The pair of dim dark pupils against the whites of her eyes were slightly reddish and savage.
She replied impatiently. “I’m busy.”
She stuffed one hand in her pocket and her eyes narrowed.
Ning Qing pursed her lips and was reminded of what Qin Yu had said last night, she pressed her voice down and bit coldly, “Did you fight again yesterday?”
Cheng Juan was done with his phone call.
As he raised his head, he saw the little girl dragged along by a woman and seemed to be scolding her next to the car. The woman looked hostile and much like a guilty thief.
With both of their silhouettes projected sideways, they were somewhat similar.
The private restaurant was supposed to deliver them all the ingredients outside, but seeing the situation, Chen Juan thought for a moment and alighted from the car. His downcast peachy eyes were cold and sharp.
A man from the restaurant ran over sweating with the ingredients.
Seeing the young master waiting outside, he quickened his pace and carefully and respectfully handed over a beautifully wrapped basket: “Juan ye, you actually came in person.”
“En,” Cheng Juan lifted his chin, his eyes were fixed on Qin Ran. He instructed in the same cold tone: “Put it in the trunk.”
The expression on Ning Qing’s face was getting uglier.
“Qin Ran, let’s go.” He raised his voice slightly, just enough to let Qin Ran and Ning Qing hear.
His wrist and hand that’s glowing exposed under the sun and hanging against the car door, was totally in contrast to his black shirt.
Ning Qing tailed off, probably because his entire appearance was rarely seen in Yuncheng.
Before she could get her senses back, Qin Ran gripped her phone and returned to the car.
The two got in the car, fastened their seat belts and started to reverse.
Ning Qing took a closer look at the car. It was a very ordinary black Volkswagen car.
It’s just that the design is quite unfamiliar.
Probably a new Volkswagen.
But who is that man?
Ning Qing recovered from the shock. Thinking of Qin Ran fighting last night, she gritted her teeth feeling that Qin Ran was just fooling around in Yuncheng again.
She still hasn’t cleared up her involvement in the fight last night, and today she’s again out of school.
Not far away, a sapphire blue sports car drove in.
Ning Qing immediately withdrew her gaze. She knows that the sports car belonged to her sister-in-law.
Qin Ran was thrown into the back of her mind while moving to the side.

“What are you doing out here?” This sister-in-law has a well-maintained appearance even in her thirties. Her hair was curled at the back of her head with a jade hairpin. She was dressed in a white cheongsam giving emphasis to her figure. Her brows are sharp and look meticulous and her whole person was oozing with superiority.
Ning Qing was better looking than her sister-in-law, but when it comes to temperament, hers was only half.
“Nothing.” Ning Qing breathed a sigh of relief noting that this sister-in-law hadn’t caught sight of Qin Ran.
Her whole face however was still tensed.
If Qin Ran were half as good as Qin Yu, she’d be happy to show her off. Would there be a need to hide her like this?
The sister-in-law didn’t ask much, but hesitantly glanced at the car with the Volkswagen brand not far away.
Her pretty brows were twisted skeptically because the license plate seemed familiar.
